  • 1. Photovoltaic (PV) Panels: The process begins with our Helios Panels. Their PV cells absorb sunlight, and the energy from photons knocks electrons loose, creating a flow of direct current (DC) electricity.
  • 2. The Inverter: This DC electricity is then routed to an inverter. This device is the brain of the system, converting the DC electricity into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is the standard form of power used by all your home appliances, lights, and outlets.
  • 3. The Grid & Your Home: The AC power from the inverter flows into your home's electrical panel, powering your life. Any excess electricity you generate is often sent back to the main utility grid, potentially earning you credits on your bill (a process known as net metering).
